What is region coding?

In different regions of the world many mainstream DVD releases are coded from 1 - 6. The idea is that only DVDs purchased in that region will play on DVD players purchased in that region. However, almost all adult DVDs are produced without region coding and will therefore not be restricted to any such regions. In the rare event of a region coded adult DVD being listed on this web-site, we will display the region number for you to check against the region you are in.

What is the difference between PAL and NTSC?

In different areas of the world different video standards are used for broadcasting TV signals. The most common ones are NTSC and PAL. Almost all European DVD releases are in the PAL format. Customers living in Europe, Australia & New Zealand should not have any problems viewing DVDs in this format. Customers outside of these countries should check that their viewing equipment is compatable before making a purchase.

US released DVDs are always in the NTSC format. And therefore perfectly suitable for viewing on standard equipment in the US & Canada. NTSC is a more widely used format and most modern DVD players for sale in PAL countries also cater for NTSC. When it comes to viewing DVDs on computers, games consoles & other devices, the only advice we can give to you is, again, check before that your viewing equipment is compatable before making a purchase.

A simple way to check is to look through the DVDs in your collection. If you have DVDs in both NTSC & PAL formats, you know you can play them.

How long will my order take to be delivered?
